USING ICT IN THE ENGLISH CLASSROOM

I'm just practising opening this blog. I've seen many of them opened by other colleagues and they are very happy with the results they get, especially because students' motivation increases and communication between teachers and students get closer and easier. Students use the English language to make comments and leave their posts and they're communicating, using English, without focusing on the language. Many students feel free to ask questions and make their suggestions without feeling ashamed of making mistakes. Using a blog, e-mail, moodle, etc.... seems to be a funnier and motivating way to make our students use the English language. Our students are the net generation and if we want to be nearer them and fulfill expectations we should get update and include ICT in our methodology. They give us a world of opportunities as rich as the variety of students we may have in the classroom, so we can find something attractive for everybody.
